Northern Argentina opens the gate to a new South American destination: The Grand Chaco. In this wildlife rich region, Santa Olga Lodge offers a unique opportunity to discover one of the finest wildlife destinations in the continent.
Located in a 17,000 hectare ranch, Santa Olga Lodge does not only provide comfortable and warm service but most importantly, it offers its guests the possibility to enjoy one of the least explored eco-regions in the world. |

During your stay in Santa Olga you can explore the savannas, gallery forests, marshlands and palm groves; home of Giant Anteaters, White-lipped Peccaries, Marsh Deer, Howler Monkeys and Night Monkeys, Manned Wolves, Tapir and many others. Even the Jaguar, which has lately become a rare species, can sometimes appear in the dense forests of Santa Olga.
Seriema Nature Tours team has helped to compile the birdlist of the area which numbers almost 300 species, including Jabiru, Red-legged Seriema, Crowned Eagle, Spectacled Owl, Pale-crested Woodpecker, Cream-backed Woodpecker, Great-rufous Woodcreeper, Strange-tailed Tyrant, Sharp-tailed Grass-Tyrant and many others. |
