The Yacutinga lodge is located on a private wildlife reserve, close to the Iguazú River in the Province of Misiones, Argentina. Yacutinga is an environmentally friendly eco-tourist project aiming to protect the Atlantic Forest, the ecosystem with the highest biodiversity in the country.
Our Seriema Nature Tours team has conducted bird research in the reserve since the year 2000, finding more than 300 species. The area was recently proclaimed as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife Argentina. Together with the WWF-affiliated organization ‘Fundacion Vida Silvestre Argentina’, Yacutinga promotes various programs for the correct use and conservation of the Natural Reserve. |

The lodge aims to offer guests a relaxed atmosphere and warm accommodation. It was constructed using local materials, such as stone, tree trunks or timber from fallen trees to ensure they generate a sense of integration with the surrounding environment. Comfortable bungalows with private bathrooms surround the complex.
Visitors to the lodge can take part in a wide variety of activities, such as guided walks, observation and identification of typical forest species, night tours and,boat excursions. |
